Estoy ayudando a mi buena y loca amiga Despina con su "dissertation project" del master. Da gusto volver a estar en un rodaje. Siempre me da mucha pereza pero luego disfruto y no me importa haber tenido que levantarme a las 7 de la mañana y haber mal comido. Aunque esta vez estoy en porducción (con Super Helena the Producer) y aunque el proyecto es sencillo y nuestro trabajo muy relajado, está claro que no es lo mío. Suerte que convencí a Despina para que aprovechara que estaba allí montando el cátering y me ultilzara de cámara 2. El proyecto es una videodanza muy sencilla pero muy bonita y en cuanto me dejó que improvisara yo estaba como una niña con zapatos nuevos, venga a a tocar las anillas de mi FX1. Aquí os dejo el texto que escribió ella para explicarnos brevemente el proyecto y un clip de su ordenador. Todo muy al estilo Despina la Ateniense (la historia se basa en el mito de la Caverna de Platón):

The project we are working on can be described as a factual fiction choreocinema .Basically a video dance film that contains an original choreography and original music.The protagonist -dancer will be in shadows , we will never see her actual body, creating an archaic symbol.

A spaceless, timeless, faceless and fleshless image of humanity, asserting a transcendent sense of the wholeness of the human individual as a part of the whole

"A transcendence story of a single human that came though a complex journey in which she rediscovered reality"

The film will not have any diaolgue prefering to communicate with the audience through dance, sound and visual imagery.

The major themes will encompass concepts of perception, knowledge, memory and our shared human history .
